Adding elements of singing and dancing can make learning a new language an all-sensory experience! Thanks to Bollywood, India’s major film industry, there is no shortages of Hindi musicals to keep the kids jumping and dancing! In fact, that is precisely how Asha and Arjun spend many a weekend afternoons.

If you are looking for Bollywood song recommendations that are kid friendly, here is a list of 5 of my old-school favorites that I danced and sang to while growing up in India. Some might say I am stuck in the past, but they feel wonderfully charming and remind me of an India that doesn’t quite exist anymore. I hope you enjoy!
